DANCE Moms stars Ashtin Roth and Haley Huelsman have travelled from America - with mums in tow - to perform in Ipswich tonight as part of their national Edge of Dreams Tour.

The performance at Ipswich State High School, co-hosted by the school and Brassall's Dancetime Studio, has plenty of young dance fans excited to meet their idols.

The two-week national tour, presented by Activate Industry Australia, also includes dancers from Dream Team Australia as well as the The Rybka Twins from Australia's Got Talent.

After stopping in Ipswich today, the Edge of Dreams Tour will hit Adelaide and Melbourne before concluding in the Gold Coast.

Both 15-year-old Ashtin and 13-year-old Haley from Candy Apples studio in the US said they were excited to visit Australia for the first time.

"It's been amazing. We've already visited some islands, went on a plane and got a selfie with a wallaby," joked Ashtin.

"It's so amazing to meet all the fans here in Ipswich," Haley agreed.

The girls even learned some Aussie lingo during their short stay. Check it out in the video above.
