64-year-old male cyclist dies after collision with ute
THE Forensic Crash Unit was last night investigating the death of a 64-year-old male cyclist after a traffic accident in Rosewood.
The male cyclist died as a result of injuries he sustained in a collision with a Ford ute.
Initial information suggested that around 4.50pm the man was cycling toward Rosewood on the Ipswich-Rosewood Rd when the Ford ute struck him from behind around 300m south of the Seven Mile Bremer River Bridge.
The driver of the vehicle then tried to assist the man.
