Cyclist injured in hit-and-run

A CYCLIST was injured in an apparent hit-and-run at Bundamba this morning.

Police said the male cyclist had to be taken to Ipswich Hospital for x-rays following the collision on the corner of Brisbane Rd and Bergins Hill Rd about 8.36am.

The vehicle involved allegedly left the scene, however a registration number was passed on to police and further investigations are underway.
