Man airlifted after bicycle crash on Cunningham Highway

POLICE are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred on the Cunningham Highway, Yamanto last night.

Initial investigations indicate that around 8.30pm, a 63-year-old man riding a bicycle in the west bound lane of the highway lost control of the bicycle and crashed.

As a result of the crash the man has received serious facial injuries and possible internal injuries.

The man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Investigations are continuing.
