Golfers keep your eyes peeled: croc at the Cap Country Club
GOLFERS need to keep their eyes peeled next time they hit the golf course.
A crocodile has been lurking around the creek at the Capricorn Country Club in North Rockhampton.
Rockhampton council workers spotted the croc last Friday when they were doing maintenance in the creek area.
As a precaution, a wildlife ranger from the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection was called in to have a look.
But he found nothing.
The club has put up crocodile warning signs to remind golfers to be careful in case the croc decides to make another appearance.
The signs have been put up along the creek on the first and second tees.
