EMERGENCY crews are scrambling to help a paraglider stuck in a tree in near Wonglepong. 

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said authorities were contacted about 1.30pm after paraglider crashed into the tree at Biddaddabba, on the north-western side of Mt Misery. 

She said crews are trying to reach the man, who is firmly lodged in the tree, both on foot and via four-wheel-drive. 

The Pol-Air chopper has also been sent to the area,
