Crews battle blaze inside shipping container

Firefighters rushed to an industrial area on the Coast after a shipping container caught alight.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said two crews arrived at Industrial Ave at Kunda Park about 1.35pm.

They found a small fire in a shipping container and battled the blaze until it was out about 10 minutes later.

The crews helped to ventilate the container and remove the remaining items inside.

The spokeswoman said firefighters hadn’t requested a fire investigator yet, but one crew was still on scene.

Paramedics attended the fire but no patients required treatment.
