Cowboys and Titans to bring the big guns to Bokarina

BOOM international star Jason Taumalolo has been named for the North Queensland Cowboys in the trial game at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

The Cowboys will do battle with Queensland neighbours the Gold Coast Titans.

Gun forwards Matt Scott and Jordan McLean will also feature along with premiership winner Jake Granville and exciting playmaker Jake Clifford.

Gympie product Carlin Anderson will play full fullback for the Cowboys, while 19-year old Junior Kangaroos representative Murray Taulagi and prolific try scorer Gideon Gela-Mosby will start on the wings with Enari Tuala and Javid Bowen named in the centres.

Titans coach Garth Brennan named Tyrone Roberts as halfback and captain for Saturday's all-Queensland clash that kicks off at 5pm.

Mitch Rein, Bryce Cartwright and cult hero Anthony Don will also line up in the starting side.

It'll be the Cowboys' first match on the Sunshine Coast, while the Titans are returning to the region after taking on the New Zealand Warriors in 2018.

Titans fans can get a firsthand look at their team at an open training session at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Friday, February 22 from 10am.

The Cowboys will hold their open training session from 3pm on Friday, where fans can see how their footy heroes train and grab an autograph.

The Cowboys and Titans also plan to visit local schools and hospitals during their time on the Coast.

Tickets are selling fast for Saturday's game and local footy fans are urged to jump online now at ticketek.com.au to avoid missing out.

'Try zone' tickets are still available for $35, while general admission tickets are $20 for adults, $15 concession, $12 for children under 15 and $45 for a family of four.
