Council offices ransacked by thieves

THIEVES ransacked the Esk offices of Somerset Regional Council on Monday night, stealing a car and at least $3000.

The break and enter of the Redbank St building was discovered about 5.30am Tuesday, with the stolen council vehicle later located abandoned on Esk-Kilcoy Rd.

Police say tools have also been stolen from the site.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
