Undercover detectives intercept child exploitation images
A MAN who was caught sending pictures of underage girls to three undercover detectives has been given a suspended sentence.
Colin Leslie Schimke, 57, pleaded guilty in the Ipswich District Court to making child-exploitation material and distributing child-exploitation material.
Schimke was talking online to three men, who turned out to be undercover officers, about the sexual exploitation of children and exchanged pictures of non-nude young girls with them.
For making child-exploitation material he was imprisoned for 15 months, wholly suspended for three years, and released on probation for two years for distributing child exploitation material. The court ordered he forfeit three computers.
