BRONCOS winger Dale Copley was looking forward to gaining more first-grade experience in 2013 after a broken leg kept him out for a large chunk of last season.

But that dream was cruelled after Brisbane's 16-14 loss to the Titans in Redcliffe on Saturday night, with the 21-year-old suffering a suspected ruptured patella in his right knee.

Copley needed assistance from the field in the first half after appearing to cop a knee following a hit-up, and will miss the entire season.

"Thanks for all the concerned messages last night. Have had scans and am booked in for surgery on Thursday. Focus my attention to 2014 now," he tweeted yesterday.

The Titans also had an injury concern, with a possible medial ligament strain to hooker Beau Falloon.

In his return match to the Broncos, Scott Prince set up a second-half try with a grubber for Corey Norman.

New Titans recruit Albert Kelly also paired up well with Aidan Sezer in the halves, scoring a try.
