Colleges Crossing reopens

COLLEGES Crossing reopened this afternoon following water releases from the Wivenhoe Dam.

A year's worth of drinking water was released from the dam to take its level down to 75 per cent.

The release started on February 20 and closed Colleges Crossing for every day until this afternoon.

Before it reopened, traffic was funneled through the one lane Mt Crosby Weir crossing as an alternative.
