City enjoys all that jazz

THE smooth sounds of jazz created the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon at Queens Park on Saturday.

The Ipswich Festival Jazz, Wine and Blues event saw 5000 people kicking back and enjoying Ipswich's best jazz and blues acts.

"It was really nice to see so many families set up under the trees and enjoy the music," Ipswich Events Corporation chairman Paul Casos said.

"All the festival events have been very well supported and there's still a lot more to come."
