Child pulled from pool in Urraween in near-drowning

A CHILD has been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital after a near-drowning at Urraween.

The incident happened at a pool on a private property about 1.50pm on Saturday.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said the child was conscious and talking when paramedics arrived.

She was taken to hospital for further monitoring.
