Charity tin stolen in robbery at Purga service station

POLICE are investigating the robbery of a service station at Purga this morning.

Around 2.40am, a man entered the business on the Cunningham Highway and demanded money from the consul operator.

The employee did not comply and the man grabbed a charity tin before leaving the premises on foot.

He is described as approximately 170-175 centimetres tall, of medium build and Caucasian.

Police investigations are ongoing.
