CCTV image may solve a crime

POLICE are appealing for information about two burglaries in Ripley on Friday.

The first burglary occurred on Friday afternoon on Fischer Rd, where a large quantity of unconfirmed personal items were stolen from a residence.

At around 7.20pm, an unidentified male offender then allegedly forced entry into a house on Clarke St and stole jewellery and a laptop.

The man is described by police as Caucasian in appearance, weighing about 110 to 120 kilograms and aged in his thirties, with short, dark hair.

According to police, he was wearing a white button-up shirt, dark shorts, dark shoes and a light-coloured shoulder bag at the time of the burglary.

Police are investigating whether these burglaries may be connected to similar offences committed in the Ripley area.
