A TOOWOOMBA snake catcher has rounded-up a snake hiding under a boogie board.

Dave Wiedman from Toowoomba Snake Catchers 24/7 said a young eastern brown was found under a boogie board after taking a dip in the pool to cool off.

"So please remember if you are feeling the heat then the snakes are too. So stay alert," he said.

"Always call a snake catcher for removal."

Mr Wiedman said the juvenile snake was likely looking for a drink of water.

Eastern browns can be identified by their brown skin and yellow bellies.

They also have distinctive dots.

Eastern browns are the second most venomous land snakes in the world.
