Car lurches into house after gear mistake

A VEHICLE was driven into a Goodna home on Thursday afternoon, damaging the front of the house and garage.

A 69-year-old woman was attempting to reverse out of her driveway in Power Ct at 1.15am, when she accidentally put the car's gear selector into drive.

The car lurched forward, damaging the garage and bedroom walls.

Police and Queensland Fire and Rescue arrived at the home to find the car had hit the house.

The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics.
