Car crash blocks busy road

A POWER pole was snapped in half and blocked part of a busy road when a man lost control of his vehicle at Camira.

An elderly man escaped injury despite hitting the power pole on Old Logan Rd about 11.20am Tuesday.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

Police conducted traffic control while the lines were cleared off the road.

Both lanes were reopened about 12.30pm.
