POLICE are appealing for public assistance in arresting the person responsible foran armed hold-up at a Brassall service station.

A man entered the 7-Eleven service station shop on Hunter St armed with a large knife about 6am last Friday, November 25.

He stole the console operator's iPod off the counter but was unable to obtain any cash during the heist.

The offender fled on foot and was last seen on Hunter St.

The attendant was not physically harmed during the robbery but was left shaken.
