IT ISN'T only in dreams - tomorrow night is the chance to rave on at the Ipswich Civic with a Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly tribute show.

Enjoy songs from the fabulous 50s and swinging 60s with Buddy 'n' Roy: Together 'n' Alone.

Cr Charlie Pisasale said the show featured the music of the never-to-be-forgotten rock 'n' roll idols Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly still revered many years after their deaths.

"Featuring Scott Cameron and Jon O Nicholson, the tribute show with take audiences on a trip down memory lane," Cr Pisasale said.

"The show opens with an exciting set by Australian performer Jon O Nicholson with Roy Orbison hits, including heartbroken ballads and bluesy rockers like Only the Lonely, Running Scared, Crying, Mean Woman Blues, Pretty Woman and many others.

"Then 26-year-old Scott Cameron takes to the stage as Buddy Holly and this second set of the show pays homage to the musical icon, with fabulous hit songs like That'll Be the Day, Peggy Sue, Oh Boy, Maybe Baby and Rave On."

Cr Pisasale said audiences should be prepared to rock along to more that two hours of hits.
