OPINION: Broncos page coming to QT

I'LL put my hand up and say from the outset that I am not a Broncos tragic.

I'll also say that I know here in Ipswich I am in the minority and it is for that reason we have decided to increase our coverage of the Broncos each and every week throughout the 2016 season.

Our new sports reporter, Ben Wilmott, has been handed the job of covering the Broncos for the QT like we have never covered them before.

Every Tuesday Ben's Bronco Bunker page will delve into how the side performed over the weekend, their injury worries and the latest news.

We will also incorporate news from across the NRL, particularly that concerning former Jets players who have been snapped up by other clubs.

Our Broncos Bunker page will run every Tuesday in sport once the season kicks into gear.

Post-match details from the Broncos games will also be put up immediately on the QT website, so fans travelling home can be better informed on the game wash-up.

In today's paper on page six, Shane Walker from the Jets gives us his five Brisbane players to watch for the season.

The Broncos page is just one of the new initiatives you will see this year in the QT as we look to bring you the news you want to read.

If you have any other special news requests please contact me and tell me your thoughts.
