
Brisbane charity founder to face fraud charges
THE founder of the charity street swags has been arrested and charged with fraud.
Seven News reports the former Queensland Australian of the Year, Jean Madden was granted watch-house bail this afternoon.

The news comes amidst accusations that Madden racked up $440,000 worth of unapproved expenses at the charity.
The Courier Mail reports she will appear in court tomorrow.
