Breakfast TV hosts wake up to city's vibe

THE hosts of Channel Ten's new morning show Wake up on Ten toured Ipswich yesterday as they prepare for the show's launch later this year.

Hosts Natarsha Belling, Natasha Exelby and James Mathison are touring the country to promote the new morning television program.

The show is expected to go to air in November, and will broadcast out of Sydney's northern beaches.

The trio were given a tour around the city from Queens Park, the CBD to Riverlink, gathering the opinions of locals on what they want in breakfast television.

The were impressed with what they saw.

Mr Matheson said his experience in Ipswich defied the city's stereotypes.

"I've been surprised. There is almost an energy to it. We went to a cafe and there was a young trendy vibe to it," he said.

For more information on the show tweet the team @WakeUpOnTEN.
