Brace for a scorching weekend with mercury to hit 37 degrees

IPSWICH can expect temperatures well into the 30s for the next four days.

The heat wave will peak on Sunday, when a maximum of 37 degrees is forecast.

The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted a top of 36 on Saturday, with the chance of late showers or a storm from Saturday through to Monday.
