Bike rides join forces for greater good

TWO of Ipswich's bike rides which raise funds for charity are joining forces to stage an even bigger and better event in 2016.

The Heritage Bank Ipswich100 ride, organised by Moggill Mt Crosby Lions Club; and the 24//7 CSF community bike ride, organised by the 24//7 Cycling Safety Fund, will hold a single ride on Sunday, April 17, rather than two separate rides only months apart.

The ride will be held in the middle weekend of the Ipswich Festival, and will be part of a big cycling weekend for Ipswich, with cyclists flocking to the city for the ride and for two Ipswich City Council sponsored criterium races planned for the inner city on Saturday April 16.

Online registations for the 25, 50 and 100km rides and the 100 mile course are open at Ipswich100.com.
