Big W to create jobs in Redbank

ABOUT 100 new jobs will be created in Redbank with the arrival of a new Big W.

The discount department store chain is set to open the doors of its newest store within Redbank Plaza today.

Store manager of the new Big W, Matthew Cattell said the opening offered local job seekers an exciting and fulfilling career in retail.

He said 100 people would be employed at the store with the majority of those jobs new roles for local people.

Grand opening celebrations will start today at 8am, with giveaways on the hour.

The addition of Big W follows the recent multi-million dollar upgrade of Redbank Plaza which saw a new expanded Coles, Aldi, Best and Less and The Reject Shop join the centre late last year.
