Barbecue marks Pennywise reopening

PENNYWISE Ipswich will be back in full operation from today and is marking the event with a celebratory barbecue.

The Limestone St store was almost completely submerged during last month’s floods but reopened towards the end of January on restricted hours.

Co-owner Brendon Moore thanked the community for all its help.

“We could not have opened again so soon if it wasn’t for the great support we’ve had from our staff, family and friends,” Mr Moore said.

“The help we received and best wishes phone calls from our loyal, valued customers have been overwhelming.”

To celebrate the reopening, a sausage sizzle will be held from 9.30am today.
