Bail for Surfer's Paradise 'robber'

AN IPSWICH woman has been granted bail after being arrested over an alleged armed robbery at Surfer's Paradise.

Shailee Jane Kingston, 18, of Willowbank, appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court in custody yesterday, charged with armed robbery with actual violence in company following an alleged incident on September 25 at a Garfield Terrace business.

A police media spokeswoman said Kingston was arrested and charged on Monday.

She will not be allowed any contact with her co-accused John Robert Cole, 30, of no fixed address, while on bail and she will reside at an address in Willowbank.

Kingston's case has been adjourned for a committal callover on November 23 at 2pm.

Cole's case has been adjourned until November 2.
