BOOVAL couple Heather Bertsos and Rohan Davies were thrilled to welcome their first baby girl into the world on Saturday.

Ruby Nyx Davies was born on October 10 at 6.40am weighing 3.15kg.

Dad Rohan said Ruby was bound to be spoiled having not only loving grandparents, but also a great-grandmother.

"We knew she would be a girl, we have a lot in my family," he said.

"She's got a lot of older cousins as well so we've already been given plenty of clothes.

"Seeing her for the first time was something I'll never forget. It was awesome."
