Aussie treasurer could take leaf from councillor's book

IF Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison wants to clear Australia's debt and deficit, he should seek the advice of the Lockyer Valley Regional Council's financial whiz, Cr Derek Pingel.

In a long-winded submission to the local newspaper, he somehow managed to make the LVRC's $33million debt disappear.

I don't know what form of Haitian voodoo he used during his conjuring act, but Treasurer Morrison should find out and give it a burl.
