Artists say welcome to visitors

SCENIC Rim artists have thrown open their studios once again this month for a celebration of art and culture featuring more than 80 artists

In its seventh year, Scenic Rim Open Studios has art exhibitions but visitors can also join in workshops and master classes and learn from some of the Scenic Rim's talented professional artists.

The event is an initiative of the Scenic Rim Regional Council and celebrates the region's rich artistic and diverse cultural community.

On May 23 and 24, studios including ABS Studios in Boonah's Old Butter Factory will open their doors to showcase the works of talented artists Felicity Smith, Rachael Brook and Catherine Anderson.

Most of the artists will have works for sale and are also available to undertake commissions.
