Roll up for Marburg Show
MARBURG Show organisers hope a Music Fest will draw more people to this year's show. The Music Fest will serve-up an array of entertainment, including Russian, German, Indigenous and Scottish dancers, rock bands, a bush poets' competition, plus much more. Be sure to catch a performance of the magic show, but if sleight of hand doesn't do it for you perhaps the ute parade will get your blood racing? Marburg Show vice president Mal Sprenger said the ute muster was always the biggest in Queensland. "The ute muster has $2000 worth of prizes and it draws crowds from North Queensland to New South Wales," Mr Sprenger said. "This year the show is bigger and better than ever. We have spent a lot of money getting new things happening like the Music Fest featuring country rock bands like Kylie Castle, Midnight Curfew, Stuart Seymore, Dust and Fields." On top of all this, you could also win a two-day, one-night stay for two people at Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, simply by attending the show. Fill in the entry form on the program and pop it in the entry box near the outside entertainment stage by 8pm, Saturday. For a great family day out head to the Marburg Show, on Friday and Saturday, to enjoy the great country atmosphere. For information contact Mal Sprenger on 0412 186 689.
