Another fatality involving a truck this time in Victoria

POLICE are currently at the scene of a fatal collision which occurred just before midday in the town of Lake Boga in Victoria.

It appears a white sedan travelling south along the Murray Valley Hwy, crossed to the other side of the road before colliding head on with an oncoming truck..

The male driver of the white sedan died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

The 50-year-old male driver of the truck has been taken to hospital with serious but but non life threatening injuries.

His 48-year-old male passenger received minor injuries, while a five-year-old boy was uninjured.

All three occupants of the truck are from Kerang.

A third car, travelling behind the white sedan was then struck by the truck.

The driver, a 68-year-old South Australian man is uninjured. At least two dogs, being towed by the car in a dog trailer have died as a result of the collision.
