THE trial against a man charged over his alleged involvement in a national paedophile ring, has begun in Sydney.
Phillip Edwards, 58, faces more than 100 child abuse offences, relating to the alleged abuse of eight boys.
Police will allege the former life coach was a member of a paedophile ring which included the child rapist Robert "Dolly" Dunn.
Mr Edwards fronted the Downing District Court on Tuesday.
The trial is expected to run for at least a week.
