'Steam Train Sunday' back by popular demand

Brisbane's moving heritage experience "Steam Train Sunday" is back by popular demand.

The Workshops Rail Museum's train returns to the track from March 6 and will run right through to December for one-hour trips through Brisbane in heritage style.

Now in its seventh year, the steam train ride isn't running out of puff, with more trips available than ever before, departing and returning to Roma Street station at 10.15am and 11.40am on selected Sundays.

Passengers are free to move between the carriages and take in the sights from the petite balconies.
