Adventure racers test their skills

THE relaxed pace of Mt Crosby life was interrupted when hardcore adventure racers turned up to compete on Saturday.

Dozens of competitors took part in the Amazing Race-style iAdventure challenge, which included 3km of kayaking, 14km of biking and 7km of running.

The course was revealed just one hour before the race began, and tested teams' orienteering skills as well as their fitness.

Liam St Pierre and Dave Schloss won in a race time of 93 minutes.
