Accused breaks down during collar bomb case proceedings

THE man who tied a fake bomb around the collar of Sydney school girl Madeleine Pulver broke down in the District Court on Friday.

ABC News reported the 52-year-old man, Paul Peters, had "mood swings and an alcohol problem".

Peters has pleaded guilty to breaking into the Pulver family home in Sydney last year and strapping the fake bomb around the young girl's neck.
