A World on Fire

These satellite images from NASA show the extent of fires worldwide at the present. Our world is on fire. Sadly, I fear this cogent representation of climate change is not enough to make our federal politicians realise that the mitigation of global warming and the implementation of environmental policy is a desperate priority. We are running out of time.

One interesting thing to note too is the presence of intense twin typhoons around Japan and South Korea, a large hurricane near Hawaii, significant low pressure systems causing flooding in Nepal and India, as well as the distinct lack of decent cloud in Australia. Probably unrelated...🙄
