A night with The Angels at the Racehorse

ANYONE familiar with The Angels' music and their history knows they are not only one of Australia's greatest bands but also one of its longest surviving.

The five-piece group is set to hit Booval with a performance at the Racehorse Hotel this Saturday.

The show, '20 Hit Singles, 5 Blokes & 30,000 Watts of Pure Rock', has all the hits from the band's 37 years of rock 'n' roll.

Lead guitarist Rick Brewster said touring was a bit like time-travel for the band.

"We're doing some shows in theatres and towns we haven't been to in decades," he said.

"But the band is playing with the same kind of energy and passion again now that shot us to the top in the late 70s."

Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets cost $30 at the door or buy online at ticketmaster.com.au

For more information phone the Racehorse Hotel on 3282 1222.
