Police hunt man for pulling female motorists' hair

APN NewsdeskPOLICE are trying to track down a man who pulled out strands of a female driver's hair in Innisfail last week, after a series of "suspicious behaviour".

It is understood a woman was driving along Flying Fishing Point Road at 10pm in Eaton, Innisfail, before pulling over after seeing a man on the side of the road.

The man, Queensland Police reported, had a "brief conversation" with the woman before grabbing her hair, "pulling out several strands" and fleeing the scene.

Innisfail Police also believed the man was involved in an incident a fortnight ago on the same road.

On that occasion, the man ran in front of a car and tried to put his arm through the driver's window, before that female driver drove off.

Police believe he was a Caucasian man in his mid to late 40s, of slim build and with short hair and stubble.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
