9-year-old girl run over by car after falling onto road

A 9-YEAR-OLD girl has sustained injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in North Lakes this afternoon.

Around 4.15pm, the girl was roller blading in a driveway on Dorrigo Street when she fell onto the road.

A vehicle travelling along Dorrigo Street has then run over the girl.

The girl has suffered a fractured ankle and internal injuries and has been transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
