7 of the best Mackay’s booming west

WEST Mackay is quickly becoming one of the emerging suburbs in the region.

REIQ data from the September quarter revealed home sales in the suburb fell only slightly behind Andergrove, the region’s top-performing suburb.

It’s central locale is unrivalled when it comes to convenience, with easy access to shopping, healthcare, Paget’s industrial hub, state and private schools and the airport. Widely available NBN access is also a selling point for professionals and families with teenagers.

West Mackay has a wide variety of homes on the market, in different style and price ranges so there’s something for everyone.
