4WD takes a spill in traffic

A DRIVER was lucky to have only minor injuries after his car tipped on its side at Redbank Plains yesterday morning.

The white Holden Jackaroo tipped over near the intersection of Redbank Plains and Cedar Rds about 9am.

It was first thought a school bus was involved in the crash but police later said that wasn't the case.

A police spokesman said the driver of the ute had minor injuries; the Queensland Ambulance Service wasn't called on to treat the man.

Police directed traffic around the ute while tow trucks were called to right the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
