$20,000 for Ipswich flood fund

THE Queenslanders Credit Union has demonstrated its commitment to the people of Ipswich with a $20,000 donation to Mayor Paul Pisasale’s flood appeal.

The donation will be converted into vouchers for local products and services to support victims of the region’s January flooding disaster and help stimulate the local economy.

Queenslanders CEO John Weier said the donation was an example of the credit union’s continued support for the community in which it originated.

“We have a strong historical connection with the Ipswich community that extends back to our beginnings in 1963,” he said.
