Water Park Family Fun Day

  • Providence, South Ripley

THE growing Ripley community welcomes its biggest recreational attraction, Providence's new Splash 'n' Play Water Park and Adventure Playground.

The free family fun day will include a free sausage sizzle, free gift for every child, DJ and balloons.

The attraction is the only combined Water Park and Adventure Playground in the south-west and features an amphitheatre, skywalk and rope bridge, flying fox, 4m high water features and a toddler water play area with Wiggly Sprayers.

St David's Day Celebration

CELEBRATE the feast day of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, with a special service at the last remaining Welsh Church in Queensland.

Located at 6 Thomas St, Blackstone, the church is one of three Welsh Churches throughout the country.

This exhibition displays some of Australia's most controversial cartoons that test the boundaries of free speech and the freedom of the press.

VISIT Tivoli Drive-In for a movie double featuring The Peanuts Movie at 7pm followed by Joy at 8.45pm.

Admission is $10 per car. Gates open at 4pm with market stalls and the cafe open plus a free jumping castle.
