16-year-old Mackay boy found safe and well

UPDATE 10pm:

THE 16-year-old boy reported missing by Queensland Police has been found safe and well.

The boy was reported missing on Saturday morning. Police released a statement saying he was last seen at 3.50pm on Friday afternoon riding his bike at Paget.

Police thanked the community for its support in trying to help find him.

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been reported missing and his family hold concerns for his well-being.

The Queensland Police Service have just released a statement asking for public assistance to find the boy who went missing yesterday.

The boy (pictured) was last seen riding his mountain bike south on the Bruce Hwy at Paget about 3.50pm yesterday.

"Police and family hold concerns for his well-being as he has not made contact with anyone since," the police statement reads.

The boy is Caucasian, about 173cm tall with blonde hair, green eyes, a slim build and fair complexion.

He was last seen wearing a blue work-wear shirt and pants, boots, a dark cap, a camouflage backpack and riding a Giant mountain bike (similar to the one pictured) with no helmet.
