MUSTER the Aussie spirit with an outback Christmas in Ipswich as Steggles presents Mayor Paul Pisasale's Carols by Candlelight.

2 BoxWorld Exhibition

BOXWORLD is a marvellous, miniature model city made almost entirely out of recycled materials.
The exhibition, which opens today is the work of Warren Thomas. Mr Thomas began the project more than a decade ago, inspired by a family visit to Legoland.

5 Toy Run

THE Lockyer Ulysses Motorcycle Club is holding their 17th annual toy run.
The community is invited to be part of the festivities by participating in the ride or by coming out to see Santa and the motorbikes as we pass by.
The ride will begin at Brassall and finish at the Ipswich Showgrounds at about 2pm.

6 Carols in the Domain

AUSTRALIA'S Got Talent finalist and singer Paris Morgan will be among those performing at the Carols in Robelle Domain event tonight.
Co-ordinated by the Combined Churches of Springfield, the event will begin with pre entertainment, followed by a program of Christmas Carols and conclude with a fireworks display.
Free ice cream will be available for kids at the end of the event, and food and drinks will be available for sale.
Guests are encouraged to bring a rug or chair.
Parking is available at the Orion Shopping Centre.
7 An Australian Christmas

IPSWICH families can get in the festive spirit and celebrate with Santa at the museum's anticipated Christmas event.
Musical performances by entertainer Bush Galah will also be held throughout the day, offering a variety of sing-a-long Aussie Christmas tunes.

A CHRISTMAS themed cent auction held today promises to be a one-stop-shop for your Christmas shopping.
The event will offer a huge array of Christmas paper, ribbons, cards, gift tags and decorations as well as a range of donated items from local businesses.
Snacks ad drinks will be for sale at a small cost and admission is $2.
Money raise will go to help fund medical equipment for the Ipswich Hospital and community health programs.

10 Pop Standen performs

HIGHLY-respected blues performer Pop Standen will be appearing at the club in Leichhardt.
Ipswich Golf Club manager John Cattanach said it was quite a coup to have the acclaimed musician playing at the club's free gig. He said Pop Standen had toured both nationally and overseas.
