1 Brick Event

IT'S an exhibition for fans of Lego of all ages. More than 20 exhibits and stalls will showcase amazing toy building brick creations built by a range of Lego fanatics from south-east Queensland.

Creations consist of Star Wars displays, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter dioramas, working trains and much more.

Admission costs $6 for adults, $3 for children and $18 for a family pass (two adults, three children). Tickets are sold at the door or pre-purchased tickets are available by phoning 3390 1288.

 

2 Wizards Express

  • The Workshops Rail Museum
  • All weekend, 9.30am - 5pm

LITTLE scholars are set to let off some steam with fantasy fun at Wizards Express during these school holidays.

Visitors are welcome to make their way through the Starlight Labyrinth before getting creative and hands-on with activities such as wand and spider making, magical creature plasticine sculpturing, plus puzzles and games.

3 Wedding Expo

EXPERIENCE this exhibition and discover the art of invention through the use of everyday materials.

See how artist John Coleman creatively re-assembles items to produce imaginative, interactive moving sculptures that combine science, art and sustainable technologies.

Experiment with touch points, sensors and simple electronic circuits to create movement, sound, lighting effects and airflow.

5 Pigeon Show

BIRDS and bird lovers will flock together as the Pigeon Specialist Club hosts its annual Pigeon Show at the Poultry Pigeon Pavilion located within the Ipswich Showgrounds.

The event is just one of the many bird shows held across the region, following on from the Ipswich Bird Spectacular held earlier this month.

Plenty of on-site parking is available at the showgrounds.

6 Bananas in Pyjamas Show
