'Desperadoes' is a wise-cracking Western full of wild characters, great laughs, and wonderful songs presented to you by the talented members of the Ipswich Orpheus Chorale.

Create with Clay

Children visiting Ipswich Art Gallery can enjoy a hands-on experience with clay when a new activity opens today.

Create with Clay offers children a chance to get their hands dirty while modelling and manipulating clay to make animal-shaped creations.

Workshops are between 10am and 4pm, with the children's clay creations able to be dried in the sun - no kiln required - once complete.

Entry to the Art Gallery is free

 

Ipswich Showplace Markets

The Ipswich Showplace Markets are at the Ipswich Showgrounds, and are open to the public between 6am and 11:30am.

Entry is by coin donation, all proceeds go to the Ipswich Show Society to assist with maintaining and upgrading the showgrounds.

Growing up on the Gold Coast sparked Anna Carey's interest and fascination with mid-twentieth century architecture.

Her work overlaps both photography and sculpture as she meticulously creates small architectural models of buildings and then photographs them to create an illusion of space.
